How to use it

Use in the morning under your SPF and make-up. We do not have SPF in our Face Cream because I recommend you use a dedicated sunblock: a product that is made to protect you from the sun and only that. You will not be able to apply enough of a SPF make-up or SPF face cream to get the coverage that’s required to protect you from the sun. And it's hard to apply these products evenly enough for proper protection. The reason sunblock needs to be reapplied every two hours is because it becomes clumped or uneven (like your make-up does) and that allows the UV rays to get through.

Use our Face Cream at night as the last step in your routine: apply to a clean face and after serums and oils (if you use those).

Why it works

Our face cream works this because it has:

• a water base which delivers hydration to the outer layer;
• a humectant which draws water up from our lower tissues to deliver more hydration to that outer skin
• oils to soften, nourish and protect your skin and aid hydration by forming an occlusive layer that locks in water.

Hydration

The big secret to having smooth and plump and healthy skin (that looks younger) is hydration. Our Face Cream delivers this where you need it: in the outer layers (as you can never drink your way to this). Water-attracting humectants draw up hydration from your lower tissues and the gorgeous oils lock it all in.

Nourishment and protection

Our super-hydrating Face Cream has some of the best antioxidant-rich organic, cold-pressed oils you can find, including Rosehip, Marula, Evening Primrose and Jojoba to protect your skin against the unavoidable free radicals that cause the damage to your skin. Think daily environmental damage (UV rays, pollution, air-borne toxins). If you want to take care of your skin and have it healthy and gorgeous at any age you need to look after it, protect it and do it every day. One of the best ways to do that is to use the power of antioxidants, both in your diet and by applying directly to your skin.
